How to choose a quality carpet cleaner
Choosing a carpet cleaner can be very confusing. There are so many things to consider, price ranges, credibility, should you use dry cleaning or another method, does the company only use portable equipment, how long have they been in business. All of these are questions you should take into consideration before choosing a cleaner. When they answered the phone were they polite? Did they give you a quote over the phone if so do you feel like they addressed all of your concerns and asked enough information to give you an accurate quote? There are a lot of bait and switch carpet cleaners out there. A good sign of a cleaner trying to give you an accurate quote over the phone is lots of questions. Make sure the company’s technicians have proper training. Clean trust firms formally known as (IICRC) train all their technicians in the services that they offer. I recommend choosing a company that uses van-mount equipment and uses the hot water extraction method. Check out their references and make sure they offer a good guarantee. If they’ ve been around awhile their probably not going anywhere and any good company knows happy customers means good referrals. Check reviews on line or ask around see if some of your friends have used the company you’re considering you might get an earful and try someone else. Good luck there are a lot of good companies out there, but many more that are uneducated, uninformed, and sometimes downright unscrupulous so do your homework and find a company that suites your needs.
Good luck and good cleaning!
